01 · Exploration and geology
Know the rock before touching it.
Drilling, sampling and geological modeling to define the mineralized bodies precisely and plan the extraction.
02 · Development and extraction
Safety in every meter of the drift.
Underground mining will follow the safety plan, the authorized environmental management program and NOM-023-STPS-2012.
The deposit
Gold and silver in the deposit.
Gold and silver ore will be extracted from the underground workings and sent to the processing plant.
Air access
A dirt airstrip on the ridge of the sierra.
A light-aircraft airstrip on a flat part of the mesa, minutes from the mine and the plant.
03 · Crushing
The processing plant, a few kilometers from the mine.
Ore will arrive by truck from the portal. The design includes a coarse ore bin, jaw crusher, screen and cone crusher on three terraces, with conveyors taking the ore down by gravity.
04 · Grinding
Ball mill and classification.
A fine ore bin, ball mill and cyclones will bring the ore to the size that liberates the gold and silver.
05 · Leaching
Six agitation tanks.
Tanks designed at 7.34 m in diameter and 10.66 m high, where the solution will recover gold and silver from the ground ore; thickeners and clarifiers complete the circuit.
06 · Precipitation
From solution to precipitate.
Clarification, precipitation and filter presses. The precipitate will be smelted in the metallurgical laboratory to obtain doré.
07 · Refining and sale
From the deposit to doré.
Doré will be refined into pure metals for sale to refiners and specialized buyers, with the traceability required by law.
